Parkes was founded in 1971 to offer full professional services to the Enclosure Industries, Motor Body builders, as well as the large and small engineering works where camlocks, handles, rods-sets, gasketing and associated accessories are used. We are still one of the leading stockists of Weston Body Hardware, Lowe & Fletcher, Emka, Gold & Wassell, Ronis, Pinet, Southco and many others..

In the year 2000 to cater for expanding sales the company re-located to nearby Leigh, Lancashire into a new custom-built factory premises. To our former traditional engineering workshop equipment we have now added a C.N.C. vertical machining centre plus C.N.C turning centre with 5 axis and lights out capabilities. These additions enable us to undertake most engineering tasks within our industry and increasingly others industries as well.

The handle and lock industry is an exacting one and we are pleased to be able to offer products, either designed and manufactured by us as well as modifying and hybridising existing products to suit our customers requirements. In all cases we continue to expand on the accepted excellence our existing customers demand and our new customers seek.
